We respect your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles information, permissions, online services and locally stored content. *** ## **1. Information We Use** NoorPath does not require an account and does not include advertising or an app analytics SDK. To provide its features, the app stores information on your device, including: * App preferences, language and appearance. * Selected or GPS-derived locations, prayer settings and saved prayer locations. * Hijri date adjustments. * Quran bookmarks, reading progress and audio download details. * Athkar counters and reminders. * Local prayer-alarm troubleshooting records. Zakat inputs are processed locally; your selected currency may be saved. NoorPath does not automatically send your saved prayer setup or bookmarks to Tawheed Tech. Google Play may provide crash, application-not-responding (ANR) and aggregate installation reports under Google’s own settings and policies. *** ## **2. Local Storage, Downloads and Backups** When you choose to download Quran audio, recordings are saved in **NoorPath’s private app storage** for offline listening. * Downloads use device storage and may use mobile data. * A source notice appears before your first download. * A Wi-Fi-only preference is available. * You can delete individual recordings or all downloads. * Uninstalling NoorPath removes these private audio files. * Downloaded recordings are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Other app settings may be backed up by Android according to your device settings. Optional manual backups contain supported settings, saved locations, reading information and download references—not the audio recordings themselves. You choose where to save the backup, which may include a cloud document provider. *** ## **3. Third-Party Services and Internet Connections** Some features connect to external services: * **MP3Quran.net:** full-surah audio streaming and downloads. * **AlQuran Cloud:** individual verse audio and the audio hosts returned by its API. * **Google Fonts:** some interface fonts may be downloaded and cached. * **Android services:** location, geocoding and speech recognition, depending on your device and settings. Online providers receive the requested resource and normal connection information, such as your IP address. They may process or retain this information under their own policies. Permissions and Connected Features** ### **Location** Location permission is used when you choose GPS-based setup. You can also select a location manually. Saved coordinates support prayer-time and Qibla calculations without continuous background location tracking. Android location or geocoding services may process location under their own policies. ### **Microphone** Recitation recognition requires microphone permission. NoorPath uses your device’s speech recognition service, which may send voice audio to its provider’s servers depending on your device and settings. NoorPath compares the returned text locally and does not save microphone recordings or send them to Tawheed Tech. Recognition stops when you stop it or leave the screen. The recognition provider controls its own processing and retention. You can decline microphone permission and continue using reading features. ### **Notifications and Alarms** Android permissions and settings control prayer notifications and scheduled reminders. You can review or change these permissions in Android settings. ### **Paired Watches** Android and your watch companion software may relay eligible notifications and media information to a paired watch. This depends on your device settings and does not create a separate NoorPath watch account or cloud-sync service. *** ## **5. Security** NoorPath uses app-private storage and HTTPS connections for its download feature. These measures help protect information, but no device, network or service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device secure and store exported backup files carefully, especially when they contain saved locations. *** ## **6. Children’s Privacy** We do not knowingly request children’s personal details. Children should use permission-based and online features with a parent or guardian’s guidance. External services may process connection information or speech audio as described above. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to Tawheed Tech so we can review and address the concern. *** ## **7. Changes to This Privacy Policy** We may update this policy when app features, data practices or legal requirements change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. *** ## **8. Contact Us and Support Information** For privacy questions or support: * **Developer:** Tawheed Tech * **Email:** If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include, such as your app version or prayer setup. Your email provider also processes the message. We use this information to respond and resolve issues. Support correspondence is retained as needed for those purposes or legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us. *** ## **9. Your Choices, Retention and Deletion** You can: * Use manual location instead of GPS. * Decline optional permissions and change them in Android settings. * Delete individual Quran downloads or all downloads. * Review support information before copying or sending it. * Choose whether and where to export a backup. * Clear NoorPath’s app storage or uninstall the app to remove local app data. Local information remains until you change or delete it, clear app storage or uninstall the app. **Exported files and system backups are managed separately.** Uninstalling NoorPath does not delete files you exported to another folder or cloud provider, or copies already held in system backups. Use the relevant provider’s controls to delete those copies. Using NoorPath does not automatically grant microphone or location permission. Those choices are made separately. *** ## **10. Disclaimer** NoorPath provides Islamic utilities for reading, learning and informational purposes. It does not replace guidance from qualified scholars or legal and financial professionals. Prayer times and Hijri dates depend on selected settings and calculation methods. Follow relevant local announcements where applicable, particularly for Ramadan and Eid.
